In memoriam: Professor Karmel L. Tambunan, Founder of INASTH 10/25,2024 APSTH community lost one of its stars with the passing of Professor Karmel L. Tambunan, M.D., PhD, FACTH on October 11, 2024. Professor Tambunan held the 6th APSTH in Bali, Indonesia in 2010. He is the esteemed founder of the Indonesian Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (INASTH). His contributions to APSTH and his love for APSTH members have been inspirational for all of us. He will be remembered for his contribution to the field of research and practice in thrombosis and hemostasis, for his humble attitude and for his heartwarming kindness.
