APSTH-JSTH joint symposium (April 22, 2010, Kagoshima, Japan) 10/22,2009 President of the 33rd JSTH annual meeting next year (April 22nd to April 24th, 2010, Kagoshima, Kyushu), Prof. Ikuro Maruyama has agreed to have the APSTH/JSTH joint symposium. We would very much like to invite investigators, especially young ones, from Asian countries to present their papers in Japan. Any paper is welcome, but those related to regional characteristics of particular diseases will be highly valued. The travelling expense and hotel accommodations are covered by us, and the registration fee is waived. They are also invited to join our Congress Welcome Party. The official language in this session is English. I hope each council member of APSTH will distribute this announcement to the members of the society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis in your country and to encourage young investigators to apply for this young investigator awards to come to Japan to present their papers. Please send an abstract of less than 500 words as an attached file (Word format), to yozaki@yamanashi.ac.jp stating that you are applying for the APSTH/JSTH joint symposium. The deadline for the abstract submission is December 16th, 2009.
